--------------------------------------------------------- I see you and feel things / that I can easily compare / Because it makes no change whether you're legal or not / 'Cause we are not different / and we suffer the same / we are sold and humiliated in exchange for a wage / It`s cold on the street / and I want to get close to you / and tell you to quit / but I look at myself… / What infamous eight hours that gobble my passion! / stealing affection and understanding from my people! / And yes...I can pay the bills / I may be exemplary / but at the end of the day / I cannot dream anymore / unsatisfying cravings, foolish needs / I don’t want to work to build this lie! / All our energy, all our joy… / in exchange for what?

---------------------------------------------------- With pain in your face/ because of your passive existence / you contemplate with horror/ the stranger that’s staring at you / Inhibited in a corner / with your inert, grey eyes/ you have given up fighting/ and no you await death / That is “the nature” you teach to kids: / disturbed/ tortured, living-dead animals / No more color bars / or shows, or tales! / How can you enjoy all that suffering? / Neither pleasure, nor education/ or even a child's smile/ can justify / cruelty and extermination / And I hope one day /the world will understand / that they also deserve empathy and dignity / All that we brag/ loses its truth/ while we blindly assume our superiority.

---------------------------------------------------------- I want the fire from the elder who fought for love / the courage of a few, against F.I.E.S.*, in prison / I want Hamid`s** strength, for making the horror visible / I want the perseverance of those who fight today / Of the ones who are passionate and walk with determination / I don’t have their memory / nor their heroism / but tears and self-pity will never change the world / And in the middle of my storms / I swim for them too / ‘cause the path will be infinite / but we will make it anyway / Because we feel the passion and it is our decision / And anytime the fog comes back / I remember that the most beautiful victories in war are not always visible. *(ethically untenable isolation regime that was established in Spain in 1989 continuing to date) **(12 year old child who died, as many others, in a juvenile correctional in Madrid, in 2008)

Policía no 01:15
Construyendo libertad. Policía no. ------------------------------------------------------- Strangers controlling the city, for safety / You changed your own fear for some others' fear, for safety/ You respect what you despise, and you swallow everything, for your own convenience / Those protecting us are not friends, those that attack us are not giants / Those who escort us today are the same that chased us before/ And it is the same authority... for our safety/ For safety, you give up the voice of your own reason / For your own convenience, you shrink while demanding firmness/ For fear, you squeeze the rope around you / We do not want no uniforms, nor henchmen in the streets/ Security among equals is something to learn and grow from inside / building freedom/ No cops!

Beyond words 02:21
That is what life is at the end of the day: trying to connect with others in a real deeper way. That is where our strength is: we struggle, we don’t delegate, we deal with trouble face to face, our own tools for our own concerns. To make this true, to scream our fears aloud and go beyond words, and build our future now. To make this true right here right now, to scream our fears aloud and go beyond words, and build our future now. That is what our war is: to show the world our own means and never replicate, those system pathways that we hate. And that’s the challenge: no rotten patterns to maintain. Being our own masters means, that we're the ones to make the change To make this true, to share what’s in our minds and fight to overcome, those superficial bars. To make this true right here right now, to share what's in our hearts and fight to overcome, the useless "them" and "us".

No venimos tampoco nosotros a mendigar nada. ----------------------------------------------- She wanted to be called Freedom / doomed to war / slave of authority / the purplish skin of tragedy / History could not defeat her / her passion was eternal / She left her subjugation and became conscious / But soon she embraced the power / became queen of the courts / wanted to be a citizen and the market's prostitute / She forgot who had fought at her side once / and she proudly applauds the parity of States today / And now she flirts, hand in hand, with repression (reinforces her chains) / Reversing roles, she now smiles at domination (and forgets): / If my men companions cannot dance to it as well, then this is not my revolution /Stand up, Freedom! / Let’s go to war! / We will never be slaves again, but neither will we be masters / Let’s rise up! / Against sexism and oppression / together men and women.

Hoy vinieron unos tipos, me he sentido valorado, he encontrado mi destino. --------------------------------------------------------- My future doesn't bode well / there is no tomorrow for me / my parents and teachers can’t stop repeating: / "This world requires competitiveness / empathy makes you weak, humility is not for heroes" / But now I will be the envy of my colleagues / mom and dad will be happy / And so I will finally be in the winners side / and will forget this life of mediocrity / I'll never be like the others / I will not go to college / I will become a man and everybody will admire me / Today some guys spoke to me/ I felt valued / I found my destiny: / When I grow up I want be a soldier / When I grow up I’ll die as a soldier.

Un cielo marrón oscurece la ciudad. Qué feliz estoy, nadie me podrá parar. Aunque me arropáis siento esas miradas tristes. ------------------------------------------------------------ A brown sky darkens the city / I'm so happy, nobody can stop me! / I can smell freedom now and I`ll finally be who I wanted to be, who I could have been/ I have paid my mistake and now I must catch up / I have a life to fill in front of me / I want to walk a hundred yards (I want to love again), and have you here (I want to hear from you) and watch the sea / But who is he? Who's the one looking at me in the mirror? / His gray head that was able to fly once / What are you looking at? What do you murmur? (It´s only me!) and what are you thinking? (against the clock!) for a whole lifetime... / I no longer remember the house where you were born/ Although you wrap me I can feel those sad looks/ What can I do to earn (your friendship), to see you grow up (and compensate) this emptiness? / I look back and savor the end... to turn back to what has become my home / One more bullet and I can then return / to the place where I know how to behave.

------------------------------------------------------------- Together we shared fears / we learnt what pain was like / and the misery of this world / that dries out our hearts / We organized ourselves: / projects, ideas and action / Talks, demonstrations, solidarity meals… / Friendship and rebellion! / Apathy and indolence are stuck in our skin today / stolen scheduled days / take us away from our purpose / Let's bring initiative, curiosity and inspiration back / There are plenty reasons to fight for / Friendship and rebellion!

Lejos 02:48
------------------------------------------------------- And they decided to take care of their own future / and possess only the things they could understand / and they walked without stepping on the others, without any idols to follow / and they took control of their instincts to be able to get along / They broke all the stone and skin walls / They made their world larger and they lived their life standing up / And they were always far away because it was there where they wanted to get / and they taught their own people not to fear decisions / and they rejected violence when there was no power anymore / and they learnt that devoting themselves passionately means winning.
